Prevent Samphire Paddleboard Valve Leaks

If your stand up paddleboard (SUP) is leaking air around the valve, it’s often a sign the valve isn’t tightened correctly.
Follow these steps to fix the issue and get back on the water.

  1. Tighten the upper valve – Using the supplied wrench, turn the upper valve clockwise to ensure it’s firmly secured.
  2. If leaking persists – Unscrew the upper valve by turning it counterclockwise.
  3. Check valve alignment – Remove the upper valve and ensure the bottom valve is centered in the board’s valve hole. Adjust by hand if necessary, then reassemble and tighten the valve securely.

Always ensure your valve cap is in place when the board is inflated to prevent dirt or water from entering.
